MarTech3D to Attend Manchester Marketing Showcase as North West Manufacturing Accelerates Digital Adoption

MarTech3D will attend Marketing Showcase Manchester at Old Trafford on Tuesday 23 June 2026, as manufacturers across the North West continue to invest in digital technology and rethink how complex products are marketed and sold.

The company will be represented by Sam McSgane, Head of Client Services, and Joe Cox, Head of Marketing, who will meet with marketing professionals from across Manchester and the wider region throughout the event. Held at Old Trafford, Marketing Showcase brings together marketers, technology providers and industry specialists for a focused day of practical insight, new ideas and face-to-face conversations. For MarTech3D, the Manchester event sits at the intersection of two important regional strengths: one of the UK's most significant manufacturing economies and a well-established community of businesses adopting digital technology.

โ€

A Region Built on Manufacturing

The North West leads the UK for total manufacturing output, with major strengths across aerospace, automotive, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food production, advanced materials and industrial engineering. The region was also named among the country's strongest-performing manufacturing areas in the 2025 Regional Manufacturing Outlook from Make UK and BDO. Greater Manchester itself has identified advanced materials and manufacturing as a strategic growth priority. The city-region is home to internationally recognised research and innovation, including its work in graphene and advanced materials, alongside an extensive network of manufacturers, engineering businesses, universities and specialist suppliers. It is also where the Made Smarter adoption programme was first piloted. The programme has since supported thousands of North West manufacturers with technology advice, digital roadmaps, leadership development and investment in areas including automation, artificial intelligence, robotics and connected business systems.

โ€

The North West is already an important part of MarTech3D's customer base. The company supports manufacturers in the region including ChargePoint Technology, Howorth Air Tech and PSL, helping them turn complex engineering and product data into visual content for marketing, sales and customer education. Working directly with these businesses gives MarTech3D first-hand insight into the challenges facing manufacturing marketers in the North West: technically complex products, limited internal content resources and growing pressure to communicate value clearly across increasingly digital buying journeys. Much of the wider conversation about manufacturing digitalisation has focused on production, operations and the factory floor. However, digital transformation increasingly extends to the customer-facing side of manufacturing too: how products are presented, how technical value is communicated and how buyers access the information they need.

โ€

Taking Digital Transformation Beyond the Factory Floor

Manufacturers often possess detailed CAD files and engineering data for every product they make, but marketing teams may still rely on static photography, manually created visuals and disconnected content production processes. This creates a gap between the sophisticated digital information used to design and manufacture a product and the content available to customers trying to understand it. MarTech3D helps manufacturers use their existing CAD and product data to create photorealistic renders, interactive 3D models, augmented reality experiences, product animations and virtual showrooms. The result is a more connected workflow from engineering data to customer-facing content, reducing the need to recreate the same product repeatedly for different channels.

Joe Cox, Head of Marketing at MarTech3D, said:

"Manchester is a particularly relevant place for this conversation. The North West has a major manufacturing economy and has been at the forefront of industrial digital adoption, but transformation should not stop at the factory gate.

"The same CAD data used to design and manufacture a product can also help marketing teams create better visuals, explain complex features and give buyers a clearer understanding of what they are purchasing."

โ€

This is particularly relevant for industrial businesses selling high-value or technically complex products. Where a photograph may only show the outside of a machine or component, interactive 3D can allow customers to explore it from every angle, understand individual features, access technical information and see more clearly how the product works. The same digital product asset can then be reused across websites, sales presentations, online meetings, exhibitions, product launches, social media and customer training.

Connecting Marketing Strategy with Practical Delivery

MarTech3D's attendance will bring together both the strategic and practical sides of introducing 3D product content. Joe Cox will be available to discuss how manufacturers can use 3D and augmented reality across product pages, marketing campaigns, exhibitions and sales activity. Sam McSgane will bring the client delivery perspective, helping businesses understand how existing CAD data can be prepared, processed and turned into scalable content across larger product ranges. Sam McSgane, Head of Client Services at MarTech3D, said:

โ€

"Manufacturing marketing teams are rarely short of ideas. The barriers are usually time, access to specialist resources and the difficulty of turning engineering data into content they can actually use.

"We are looking forward to meeting marketers across the region and discussing the practical steps involved, from identifying suitable products and preparing CAD files through to publishing content across different customer touchpoints."

โ€

Together, they will be able to discuss both where interactive product content can deliver value and what is required to implement it successfully.

Supporting the Next Phase of Manufacturing Marketing

Marketing Showcase comes at an important time for the region. North West manufacturers are competing in international markets while facing continued pressure on costs, skills and internal resources. At the same time, customers increasingly expect to research products digitally and complete more of their buying journey before speaking with a sales representative. For marketing teams, that creates a need to make complex products easier to understand without producing every asset manually or depending on lengthy external projects.

โ€

By attending the Manchester event, MarTech3D aims to connect with manufacturers exploring how their existing CAD and product data can support a more efficient and scalable content supply chain. The conversation is no longer only about digitising production. It is also about using digital product data to improve how manufacturers communicate, educate customers and compete for new business.
